Watch Key & Peele Take on the Hot Ones Challenge

By

Keegan-Michael Key and Jordan Peele—the sketch-comedy geniuses behind Comedy Central's Key & Peele—thought they were doing a regular press junket for their first feature film, Keanu, last week. But Hot Ones don't play that. Instead, host Sean Evans put up his own movie poster, busted out a lineup of five incredibly spicy chicken wings, and turned a normal interview into a painful battle of wits and wills.

In the gonzo session that followed, Key and Peele covered everything from hanging out with Method Man on the Keanu set (apparently he "wakes up one shoe at a time, just like the rest of us"), to getting the opportunity to work with President Obama at the White House Correspondents' Dinners (Barack's a big fan of "bro hugs"). They also teach Sean some "Keeganese," including the meaning of the term joinks (you'll want to work it into everyday conversation).

Best of all, the comedy duo channels the "Valet" characters from one of their most popular sketches to review their own movie—all while dying from the scorching heat of Blair's Mega Death Hot Sauce.

You should definitely go see Keanu, in theaters April 29, to find out why it made Sean Evans do a spit-take back into his cup of Sprite. But first, watch the video above to see Key and Peele explain why they now wish they had the opportunity to do the long-lost "water sketch," and why you should never get into the film industry.
