Ever since Drake declared himself “Chef Curry with the pot” on “O to 100,” the rapper’s fate has become increasingly entwined with Golden State Warriors guard Steph Curry, and his soon-to-be Food Network star wife, Ayesha. Over the weekend, the reigning MVP did a drop on OVO Sound Radio as Drizzy unveiled his new song, "4pm in Calabasas," and on Saturday night, the 6ix God made an appearance at Ayesha’s International Smoke pop-up, eating barbecue and snapping photos with the couple.
Held at Michael Mina’s Test Kitchen in San Francisco, the pop-up represents Ayesha’s first foray into the restaurant business and will run through July, offering a four-course, family-style menu for $45 per person. Ayesha, her guests, and the restaurant's staff later shared scenes from the opening on Instagram.
Since the release of "0 to 100" in 2014, Drake has steadily been adopted into the Curry family. Later that year, Steph and Ayesha parodied the song in a widely-watched YouTube video, and in April, Steph told ESPN that he and his brother-in-law play basketball at the rapper's house. "I was me against my brother-in-law with Drake and his boys and some of my family in the stands," he said, after Drizzy rapped the line "Golden State running practice at my house" on "Summer Sixteen."
But while Drake's love of sports is well documented, the trio also finds time go on dates at In-N-Out Burger together.
