When things that aren’t hip try to be hip, the results are usually pretty cringeworthy. This has never been more true than in the age of Twitter, when corporations just can’t seem to help but embarrass themselves over and over again.
It now seems that IHOP is the latest company to enter the foray of online gaffes:

On the surface, this just seems like a bad attempt at humor. Apparently, actor and comedian Rob Delaney took it pretty hard.

Who would’ve thunk that an establishment known for its “Rooty Tooty Fresh ‘n Fruity” breakfast wouldn’t know its way around social media and not being misogynist? Strange.
