By

On Saturday afternoon, American Pharoah became the first Triple Crown-winning horse since 1978 when it finished first at the Belmont Stakes, adding this W to the results it already picked up at the Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes.

In the midst of the Internet’s reaction, one particular Vine, taken during the celebrations, slid its way onto Twitter and, consequently, into our nightmares. Behold: the Burger King in victorious trainer Bob Baffert’s box, applauding.

For those wondering, WTF is the Burger King doing there?, consider that the company also placed its odd-looking mascot into Floyd Mayweather’s entourage during the boxer’s huge bout with Manny Pacquiao in May. Perhaps the company’s trying a new guerrilla marketing technique to boost sales (Burger King Russia has already tried marketing on women’s breasts). Who knows. In any case, here’s one more visual of the mascot, just in case you couldn’t believe your eyes the first time.

You never know where he’ll appear next—maybe engulfed in confetti with the winning squad when the NBA Finals end later this month.
