Someone Smart on Reddit Made a Croissant-Wrapped Burrito

By

A Redditor has done the world a solid and posted a recipe/ life-hack for what (s)he calls Taco Bread, although that name doesn’t really do this croissant burrito lovechild justice.

The “recipe” is heavy on photos but completely lacking in specific ingredients, measurements, oven temperatures or anything resembling a useful instruction. However, you’d have to be Department of Veteran Affairs level inept to screw this simple dish up.

It essentially requires you to put burrito fillings (meat, beans, rice, cheese) between two sheets of croissant dough and follow the baking instructions on the pastry packet. If that feels too challenging, another Redditor recipe tested and posted this helpful ingredient list:

1 lb ground beef
1 can diced tomatoes (for Rice-a-roni)
1 box Rice-a-roni Spanish Rice
1 can refried beans
2 cans Pilsbury crescent rolls
Margarine (about 5 tablespoons is enough)
1 packet Taco Seasoning
1 bag shredded cheese

We’re going to call this a Señor Wellington since it’s kind of a Mexican spin on the puff-pastry wrapped steak. Although we’re fully aware that the stoned college kids making this tonight will come up with something better.
