The guys behind Simple Pickup had a really good idea: take refunded money from a previous charity project, find workers in the fast-food industry that are most likely making minimum wage and often overlooked by the rest of society, and give them a $100 tip.
“It’s left over money from a project I was working on,” the guy handing out the tips explains when the fast-food employees look at him skeptically.
Make sure you watch until 3:00, when the tipper tells a McDonald’s employee,
The girl then gives a portion of the gift to a homeless man sleeping in a booth at the McDonald’s.
The team promises to give $100 for every 100,000 views their fundraiser video gets. So share with your friends, family, and the person standing next to you. Compassion for other humans and paying it forward never goes out of style, ya hurd?
