Thank you, Gizmodo, for introducing us to the Bugatti of toasters, literally. The “Bugatti Noun” is a toaster made out of glass and chrome, and if you want one in your kitchen you’ll have to cough up $1,000.
The high-end kitchen appliance scraps traditional heating elements for semiconductors that are embedded in the glass. The toaster, which is operated through a smartphone app, is designed in a way that allows you to cook basically anything, as long as you put it in a heat-resistant bag.
The Bugatti toaster will be available in the US at the beginning of 2015.
