MRI technologist Andy Ellison has observed countless brain scans. He understands that MRIs have a strange mystery about them, and runs the website Inside Insides to document the MRI amazingness.
With that in mind, he put a number of household items through the machine. Corn, bananas, and garlic were only a few of the fruits and vegetables to have their innermost workings revealed with his Philips 3 Tesla MRI.
The resulting GIFs are fascinating, revealing hidden patterns and structural details.
