Last night, Wu-Tang Clan member Raekwon the Chef stopped by Sweet Chick, a restaurant in Brooklyn that specializes in chicken and waffles, to do a surprise performance.
For Sweet Chick’s one year anniversary party, Raekwon performed “C.R.E.A.M.” and “Ice Cream” from behind the bar, before sitting down and feasting on chicken and waffles with Sweet Chick owner John Seymour.
Our question: Why don’t rappers randomly appear behind the bar of NYC restaurants and start spitting rhymes more often? Put it this way: if we were sitting down to a plate of rigatoni alla vodka at Carbone we wouldn’t not want Young Thug or Bronson to just randomly show up and start performing.
