At 2:22am this morning, Damana Madden (@Mana) Tweeted a photo of a cooked bird with crab legs and a cooked octopus hanging out of the cavity.
Damana refers to the meat and seafood monstrosity as a “Cthuken.” There are so many unanswered questions surrounding this photo: Did mad scientist Damana construct this creature? Was Damana attempting to make a turducken and didn’t know which ingredients she was supposed to use? Or did Damana just find this monstrosity in a dark corner of the Internet that we aren’t privy to? Is this modern art?
The Tweet and accompanying Twitpic has since gone viral, and Damama has stated:
The Cthucken picture has already inspired art, and will most definitely take on a life of it’s own and carve out a place in the history of weird food.

UPDATE: Our friends over at Gothamist got to the bottom of the Cthuken story. Rusty Eulberg, a database administrator from Lubbock, TX, created the Cthurkey about two years ago. He and his wife Jennifer Robledo “wanted to do something unique for Christmas dinner” with their friends. The shocking photo resurfaced when Damana Madden shared it on Twitter this morning.
