Beer Drinkers: Your Bottle of Corona Extra May Contain Glass Shards

By

Before you crack open an ice cold Corona this weekend, make sure to double-check the number on the bottle. ABC News reports Corona is recalling 12-packs and 18-packs of Corona Extra due to shards of glass that may be mixed in with the beer.

The defect in the bottles was discovered during a routine quality check. Now, it is estimated that the voluntary recall will effect one in every 5,000 12-ounce clear bottles of Corona Extra, according to ABC News.

This is the second time in two years that Corona has recalled a product due to the possibility of glass shards in the brew. Stay woke.
