Since Starbucks has recently decided to jack up its coffee prices, drinkers need a quick-fix alternative for coffee more than ever. Thankfully, Miami-based startup Jiva Coffee launched a Kickstarter campaign two years ago to bring high-quality instant coffee cubes to the masses.
Unlike a lot of cheap instant coffees, Jiva Coffee meticulously sources its coffee beans. The cubes are made from good-quality, freeze-dried beans and Panela sweetener, an unrefined cane sugar. The Arabica beans (which are “non-acidic, with fruity, caramel tones”) are hand picked from the Santander growing region in Colombia, and are handcrafted into cubes that contain no chemical additives, preservatives, colorants or artificial flavoring.

Jiva offers a variety of coffee cube flavors, including Black, Strong Classic, Classic, Mocha, Caramel, French Vanilla, Hazelnut, Hot Chocolate, and Caramel Hot Chocolate. And they’re inexpensive, too—$5 for a 4-pack.
You can order the caffeinated cubes on Jiva Coffee’s website.
To make a cup of coffee from the cubes, consult these simple instructions (seems impossible to mess this up).
