In addition to pushing boundaries when it comes to the what’s inside the bottle, craft brewers bring a ton of creativity to their artwork. Without huge budgets to pour into branding, a lot of outfits take a DIY approach, resulting in some awful fails, but also some truly unique triumphs.
This week brings us another look at the impressive diversity of labels out there. We love that Seattle’s Elysian Brewing in Seattle teamed up with a comic-book publisher for a new series of specialty beers, and we’re happy to see breweries that continue to bring some humor to the beer game: See Airway Brewing Co.’s Sky Hag IPA, starring an old, chain-smoking flight attendant.
