Over the years, there’s been much debate over the proper application of sauce. But now, the Dallas Cowboys are here to set the record straight once and for all: There’s never, ever too much sauce.
In a ridiculous, 40-second clip titled “Breakfast Club With The Dallas Cowboys,” Ezekiel Elliott, Dez Bryant, Dak Prescott, Terrance Williams, Cole Beasley, and Lucky Whitehead sit down for an incredibly messy meal at the team’s headquarters. As Elliott scoops spoon after spoon of Lucky Charms in the general direction of his face, Beasley pours nearly a gallon of hot sauce on his scrambled eggs.
As Sports Illustrated notes, Bryant ultimately pokes fun at his run-in with the NFL’s confounding catch rule, which cost the Cowboys a victory over the Green Bay Packers during an NFC division game in 2014. When Bryant tells his teammate to “toss the sauce, bro,” the clip transitions to a dramatic slowmo as the wide receiver makes the grab
"Caught it!" he says, smiling at the camera.
Let's just hope Bryant and the rest of Cowboys don't get lost in the sauce.
